Office 365 available FREE for Students
Dear families,
We want to ensure that everyone is aware that students with the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board can download Office 365 for use at home, which includes; Word, Excel, Outlook Mail, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive etc., FREE OF CHARGE, from www.office.com.
Yes, that's right! All students have the ability to download and use a copy of Microsoft office at home free of charge! Students must also know their BHNCDSB username and password to do the installation. This user name and password is the same as what they use to login to Brightspace/D2L.

How to install Microsoft Office on Various Browsers and Devices
- Launch an Internet browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Apple Safari).
- Navigate to https://www.office.com.
- Sign in using board email address and password.
- The landing page displays the various apps which can be used online.
- Near the top right corner there is an Install Office button.
- Select the Install Office button.
- The webpage will detect whether you are accessing the software from a PC or a Mac and will provide the correct version of the software for download.
- For Chromebook, follow instructions at this link.
- For Android tablet, or Android phone, follow instructions at this link.
- For iPod, iPad, or iPhone, follow instructions as this link.
***When prompted to sign in, use board email and password.
