Halloween Spirit Day

On Thursday, October 31, students from kindergarten to grade 8 are invited to join the Holy Cross Halloween Spirit Day.

Students and staff are invited to wear their orange and black colours or come to school wearing a Halloween costume. There will be three top prizes for the best best costumes. One student will be chosen from each class (nominated by their own classmates). The Student Council will then choose our top three winners from that group of students. Be creative with the many positive idea there are for cosutmes. Please make sure your child comes to school with a costume that wouldn’t conflict with our values and beliefs.

The students will also participate in a costume parade at 9:45 a.m. around our school block (weather permitting).  Please sign and return the permission form that was sent home with the students, which is necessary for student to particpate in the parade off of school property.
