First Day of Chocolate Bar Fundraiser

Dear Families,

This year, with your help, we will be participating in a fundraising campaign. It has been very difficult to raise funds in the last year and a half, so we need your help to restore funds for things such as:

• special events and initiatives at our school, and to help support student nutrition
• the cost of transportation for teams, class trips and online/virtual tours
• the purchase of learning resources such as instructional technology, library books, take home reading books, and hands on resources for math and science.

With your permission, the youngest child in each family will receive one case of:  World’s Finest Chocolates.

Each carry case contains 30 individual bars, and the bars sell for $3.00.  We do not encourage door to door sales and ask that you consider assisting your children in selling this chocolate.  In the past, some of our top sellers have used these strategies:

• selling to family members and friends
• have family members take a case of chocolate to work
• taking the chocolates to a special family event (e.g. birthday party, Thanksgiving)

CAMPAIGN STARTS:     OCT. 6, 2021

CAMPAIGN ENDS:         OCT. 29, 2021

Please return all money and unsold chocolate by: NOVEMBER 1, 2021.

There are three options to pay:

1. You can use School Cash Online to pay the full $90 for a full case rather than send the cash to school.
2. You can use School Cash Online to pay for the exact number of bars you have sold.
3. You can send in the cash to the school in the envelope provided in the case.

Additional bars are available when a student has returned his or her money for the full value of a case ($90) or if we receive a phone call or a note from a family member asking for another case.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR PRIZES!

Starting on Tuesday, Oct. 12^th, students can have their family’s name entered into a draw to win some fantastic daily prizes!!  The full $90 must be returned to be eligible for a draw.  Your family’s name is entered for each case that you sell.  AND…. the first four families to sell two full cases and return the $180 will each receive a $25 Walmart gift card!

We want to reward the families that have the highest dollar value of sales, so we have some special prizes for our top selling families!

1. First place prize - $100 gift card to No Frills
2. Second place prize - $75 gift card to Shoppers Drug Mart
3. Third place prize - $50 gift card to No Frills

Thank you in advance for your assistance in helping with this necessary campaign.  100% of the profit goes towards supporting special events for students and the purchase of additional learning resources.
