Emily Giugovaz is 10 years old student at Holy Cross Catholic school in Brantford. Not only is she a remarkable vocalist with great charisma, she also was born with Spina Bifida, a birth defect that presents life-long and daily challenges. Emily, her family and her friends created a video to help raise awareness of this condition and also serve as a message that people cannot be defined by their challenges, rather they should be seen as unique individuals. Emily is full of sparkle and talent and is not only capable of rising to meet the challenges of Spina Bifida, she is also ready to take on the World.
