Christmas Mass & Lunch Postponed / Possible School Closure - Wednesday, December 11
Dear Families, due to the possibility of job action and the closure of schools on Wednesday, Dec. 11th, we regret to inform you that we must postpone our Christmas Mass and lunch at Our Lady of the Assumption Church and St. Mary's Parish Hall. We are trying to arrange for a different day next week, but we will not be able to confirm this with the church and the Sherwood Restaurant (the caterer) until tomorrow at the earliest.
We want to continue with this very important tradition in our school community. At the very least, it is our hope to have the lunch at school. Ideally, we hope to be able to have Mass and lunch at the church on the same day, but we will have to wait to see if we can still coordinate that. We will inform you as soon as we know if or when we can make it happen.
In the event that we cannot have the lunch this year, we will arrange to have your $3 refunded.
